PGH will educate the community on HPV and the importance of getting vaccinated.  PGH will educate the community on performing annual gynecological exams (Pap smears) and the follow up required if diagnosed with HPV.  PGH will educate the public on the safety of the HPV vaccine and reiterate the importance of safe sexual conduct.  As a HPV Ambassador for American Cancer Society, I will educate the community on the latest research and outcome of HPV intervention. PGH will collaborate with other organizations to bring awareness to the prevention of cervical cancer and HPV on college campuses, schools, adolescent organizations, etc.

PGH will educate the community on regular Pap exams and HPV vaccine for adolescents starting at age 11. PGH will educate the community about safe sex and the transmission of the HPV virus.  PGH will bring awareness to the HPV vaccine schedule to ensure all doses of the medication is received. PGH will discuss the safety of the HPV vaccine.

Treatment

PGH will bring awareness to follow-up visits with GYN provider for adequate treatment options if cervical cancer if diagnosed. PGH will introduce the Thermocoagulator for treatment of pre-cancerous lesions.
